We offer a competitive salary for this role. Based on industry standards and the location in Sherwood Park, AB, we estimate the annual salary to be around $42,000 - $52,000 CAD.

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Save-On-Foods, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacy teams in delivering quality care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests
  • Inputting patient and prescription information into the computer system
  • Performing tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, as well as checking expiry dates and handling inventory corrections
  • Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies
  • Communicating allergy interactions and billing information to pharmacists
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A completed accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or 5 years of dispensary experience
  • A strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Kroll computer experience is an asset
