About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join our team at Conestoga Cold Storage Limited. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive web-based user interfaces for both internal use and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create responsive and user-friendly web applications using Python, JavaScript, and Docker.
  • Develop new features and improvements to our Warehouse Management Systems, dashboards, automated reporting, and intranet sites.
  • Collaborate with senior software architects to improve our software development process and implement Continuous Integration.
  • Communicate with customers and employees to evaluate requests for enhancements to existing programs or develop new ones.
  • Adhere to our company development standards, including our chosen software stack, writing automated tests, and participating in code reviews.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue/React/Angular).
  • Experience with Linux O/S, Docker, and Git.
  • Oracle database knowledge.
  • Experience in developing AI models (preferred).
  • Warehouse/Material handling experience (preferred).
  • Business development experience (preferred).
  • Previous Management experience (preferred).
  • Valid driver's license and full-time access to a vehicle.
Working Conditions
  • Brand new technology centre.
  • Occasional work in a refrigerated and freezer environment.
  • Overtime may be required on occasion.
