Job Summary

Britespan Building Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret Welding Specifications: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate Welding Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine Welds: Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Start-up and Shut-down: Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
Work Environment

As a MIG Welder at Britespan Building Systems Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding conditions. You will be required to stand for extended periods and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
