Job Title: Financial Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at Alberta Ltd.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping. As a Financial Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.

You will work closely with our finance team to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports and statements. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining our financial systems and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a solid understanding of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, as well as experience working with manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements
  • Prepare cheques for payroll and reconcile accounts

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial record-keeping
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
