**Job Summary**

As a Security Concierge at FirstService Residential, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors to our properties. **Key Responsibilities:**

  • Identify and clarify residents' needs and desires, answer questions, give directions, and instructions.
  • Remain calm under pressure and act quickly to resolve issues.
  • Manage and screen messages, schedule access for authorized vendors, and maintain guest privacy.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.
  • Enhance department and organizational reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Ensure all safety and access control procedures are followed and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Provide protection to clients, residents, and property by answering customer inquiries and directing as required.
  • Observe floors and stairways to ensure they are clear of debris, obstructions, and fire hazards.
  • Enforce client rules, regulations, and laws, and assist police and medical staff when required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors, and visitors.
  • Perform routine property patrols and respond to emergencies and fire alarms.
  • Follow up with daily documentation, daily occurrence log, incident reports, and front desk software as required.
  • Follow all on-site procedures, including employee handbook policies and procedures, training checklist, standing orders, and standard operation procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • Valid Ontario Security License.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of college-level courses with a concentration in business, hospitality, or police/security foundations would be an asset.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit for extended periods, and stand for extended periods.
