Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join Myticas Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Solaris 11 and Red Hat Linux 8/9 environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Solaris 11 and Red Hat Linux 8/9 operating systems.
  • Plan and execute server installations, configurations, and performance tuning using tools such as Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform.
  • Develop Ansible playbooks to automate routine administrative tasks.
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation, including build books and operational guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in a Red Hat Linux 7/8/9 environment utilizing Satellite.
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with Solaris 11.
  • Proven experience with Ansible Automation.
  • A strong background in UNIX system administration, hardware support, and building (scripting, packaging, OpsCenter).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Network Automation.
  • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
  • Familiarity with Red Hat OpenSCAP.
