Culinary Specialist

At Health Careers in Sask, we are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, producing, and distributing food and beverages in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

This is a part-time regular position with a 0.36 FTE, offering a competitive salary range of $23.170 to $24.840, with a starting rate of $24.840 per hour. The job requires working 5 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks, with no relief or float hours.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as basic computer skills. You should also have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Leadership skills and organizational skills are also essential in this position.

The ideal candidate will hold a Food Safe Certificate and a Journeyperson Cook certificate, with a valid driver's license, where required. Health Care Cook Certificate is also acceptable in lieu of the Journeyperson Cook certificate.
