About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Technician - Structures (ACS) to join our team at IMP Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul on the Canadian Forces CC130J aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, and overhaul in accordance with Canadian Forces and industry standards, as well as IMP Group policies and procedures.
- Complete associated documentation accurately and in accordance with Transport Canada Regulations, Technical Airworthiness Manual, Quality Control Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and Process Standards.
- Ensure the return of the customer aircraft in safe and serviceable condition by performing all work tasks in accordance with applicable manuals.
- Provide coaching and leadership to junior technicians to ensure work tasks are performed efficiently and accurately.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (approved by TCCA or applicable governing body) or Military course(s) equivalent.
- 48+ months' experience performing duties within the scope of their trade and Holder of Transport Canada AME-S license or DND equivalent certification/authorization levels.
- CC130 B-H & J Aircraft DND/Military experience is considered an asset.
- Currently hold or capable of getting Controlled Goods Program Clearance and Secret Security Clearance.
