Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Bison Transport Inc.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled driver with experience in long haul trucking to work with a reputable company. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • FAST (Free and Secure Trade) Program
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, vision care benefits, group insurance benefits, life insurance, and Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).
