At BGIS, we are seeking a skilled Stationary Engine Mechanic to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the facility's systems, performing preventative maintenance, and providing routine and on-demand services on assigned facility equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspection rounds, record observations, and ensure equipment readings are in accordance with regulations, operating procedures, and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Perform troubleshooting to identify mechanical equipment problems and implement creative solutions to prevent damage to the plant and equipment.
  • Be analytical and have the ability to solve technical issues in the plant, as well as good teamwork skills.
  • Comply with occupational health and safety rules and assist in updating a preventive maintenance plan.
  • Respond to occupants' service calls and perform general, preventative maintenance, develop and repair various building systems and components.
  • Inspect and check equipment, estimate time and parts needed for repair, and comply with established standards.
  • Respond to emergencies for the proper functioning of operations and maintain and clean workspaces.

Requirements:

  • Stationary Engineman certification (MMF class 4)
  • Proactivity and initiative
  • Team player and collaborator
  • Analytical, thorough, and problem solver
  • Ability to read and interpret various drawings in repair manuals
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ideal 3–5 years of experience
