**Job Description:**

The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our blanking facility, ensuring production efficiency, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness. This role leads manufacturing teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Lead and develop production teams to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain equipment effectiveness.
  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence.
  • Monitor and optimize production schedules, workforce planning, and inventory management.
  • Evaluate and minimize equipment failures and downtime in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and drive initiatives to improve operational profitability.
  • Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and enhance performance.
  • Partner with quality teams to ensure adherence to ISO/IATF standards and customer-specific requirements.
  • Drive employee engagement, coaching, and development programs to build a skilled and motivated workforce.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and capacity management.
  • Working knowledge of EHS regulations, OSHA compliance, and quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams at all levels.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and data-driven operational analysis.
