Job Description
  • Plan and optimize routes using GPS equipment and other navigation tools to minimize fuel consumption and reduce carbon emissions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations.
  • Operate a straight or articulated truck to transport goods and materials, maintaining a clean and organized vehicle at all times.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning of tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
  • Document cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately.
  • Tarp and secure cargo safely to prevent damage during transit.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement is required for this position.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Mileage paid according to industry standards.
  • Permanent employment with a regular work schedule of 40-50 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency is essential for effective communication with customers and colleagues.
