Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Summit Resort MPM o/a Blackcomb Springs Suites. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our resort rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Guest Services: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, pick up debris and empty trash containers, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics, patience, honesty.
