About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Avature's Cybersecurity Services team as an Enterprise Risk Management Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating emerging threats, ensuring the protection of our clients' assets from cyber risks. As an Enterprise Risk Management Advisor, you will work closely with clients to analyze business requirements and design effective security solutions. You will also collaborate with senior-level security consultants, participate in client engagements and deliverables, and contribute to the development of new security solutions and methodologies.

Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Risk Management Advisor, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating emerging threats, ensuring the protection of our clients' assets from cyber risks. This will involve analyzing business requirements, applying technical skills, and collaborating with senior-level security consultants. You will participate in client engagements and deliverables, working on multiple projects simultaneously, and contributing to the development of new security solutions and methodologies. Additionally, you will provide training and support to junior team members and help shape the future direction of our cybersecurity services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's Degree and have knowledge of IT security concepts and fundamentals. You should also have eligibility to obtain Canadian L2 Secret Clearance and excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with network design, network security, authentication, authorization techniques, and encryption protocols and standards is essential. Additionally, experience with operating systems, Linux (preferred) / Unix / Windows, and Palo Alto XSIAM and SIEM technologies such as Q Radar and/or Sentinel and/or Splunk would be beneficial.
