Job Title: Senior System and Network Administrator
Job Summary:
Haivision is seeking a highly skilled Senior System and Network Administrator to join our IS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Management: Install, configure, and maintain various operating systems and servers, ensuring seamless updates and optimal performance.
- Network Administration: Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware.
- Cloud Management: Manage and maintain cloud-based resources across various platforms, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Security Oversight: Implement and monitor security protocols, ensuring the protection of our network and data from threats.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage system backups, developing and testing disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity.
- User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems promptly.
- Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related projects and initiatives, communicating effectively with team members, management, and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience as a System/Network Administrator, with expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, PfSense, and Microsoft 365 Enterprise Suite.
- Proficiency in various operating systems and servers, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and FreeBSD.
- Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and security principles.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms, including VMWare, Hyper-V, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with system monitoring tools and methodologies, such as Prometheus and Zabbix.
- Knowledge of backup/restore solutions and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with project management lifecycle and tools, including Jira and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, in both French and English.
- Certifications like MCSA, CCNA, or CompTIA A+ are an asset.
