About the Role

This position is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating individual and group activation programs for residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recreation and leisure services, as well as experience working with geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement activation programs based on assessed needs and assigned by the Supervisor.
- Set up and clean activity areas as necessary and transport residents to and from programs.
- Monitor behavior and condition of residents during programs and report any significant changes to the Supervisor and nursing staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proof of completion of Recreation and Leisure Services/Gerontology diploma or degree program.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge and experience in one-one/group program planning, implementation, and evaluation for well and cognitively impaired residents.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
