Job Title: Manager, Clinical Operations

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, Clinical Operations to join our Richmond Community Admin team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide clinical and operational leadership to a frontline clinical patient care department or health program, directly supervising nurses at the Level 4 or 5 classification/wage rate. This role will be responsible for delivering services through multidisciplinary teams in an acute and/or community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership to a frontline clinical patient care department or health program.
  • Directly supervise nurses at the Level 4 or 5 classification/wage rate.
  • Deliver services through multidisciplinary teams in an acute and/or community-based setting.
  • Lead an inter-disciplinary team and work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve excellence in client and family-centred care, education, and research.
  • Address ongoing issues/needs of clients and their families and ensure a smooth transition from acute care to community health services.
Qualifications:
  • Baccalaureate (Masters preferred) in a relevant clinical professional area.
  • Seven to ten years of recent, related clinical and progressive leadership experience, including direct supervisory experience.
  • Current registration/membership with a recognized professional association.
  • Basic computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet, and/or database programs and ability to utilize a computerized patient care information system.
