We are a reputable logistics company seeking an experienced and reliable long-haul truck driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations, providing exceptional service to our clients, and upholding the high standards of our organization.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a guaranteed minimum of 50 hours per week. You will work independently as part of a two-person team or convoy, driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate trucks in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safe transportation of goods.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Carefully load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring that they are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Maintenance and Inspections: Regularly inspect your vehicle and perform necessary maintenance tasks to ensure it remains in good working condition.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with central dispatch, updating them on your location, estimated arrival time, and any issues that may arise during transit.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid Class 1 or A driver's license with an Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
  • Experience: Have at least 2 years of experience as a professional over-the-road truck driver, with a proven track record of safe driving and excellent customer service.
  • Certificates and Licenses: Possess all required certificates, licenses, and memberships necessary for this role, including a valid driver's logbook and inspection report.
