  • Perform hands-on carpentry tasks alongside the team, including framing, installing structures, and finishing work, maintaining the highest standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications, ensuring a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule work activities to meet project deadlines, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards, maintaining a strong focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect work to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to meet project expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with company management, clients, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution, fostering strong relationships and a collaborative work environment.
  • Resolve on-site issues and make decisions to keep the project on track, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Maintain detailed records of work progress, hours worked, and materials used, providing accurate and timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

  • Certified Journeyman Carpenter.
  • Extensive experience as a Journeyman Carpenter, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing construction projects.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience as a foreman, demonstrating the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.
