Job Summary

We are hiring for a General Clerk/Cashier at our location in Ladysmith, BC. This role involves operating a cash register, sharing product knowledge with customers, ensuring departments are well stocked and presented, handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Giving Exceptional Customer Service: We strive to go above and beyond for our customers and fellow team members.
  2. Operating Cash Registers: Efficiently handle transactions and maintain a clean workspace.
  3. Sharing Product Knowledge: Inform customers about products and offer suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
  4. Maintaining Store Appearance: Ensure departments are visually appealing and merchandise is displayed effectively.
  5. Handling Inquiries: Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns and complaints.
  6. Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment by cleaning equipment and the work area.
