Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Spiritual Care Programs Coordinator to support and nurture the spiritual care ministry at Baptist Housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing spiritual care initiatives, developing and maintaining relationships with local faith communities and chaplains, and coordinating communication between our team, chaplains, and external partners.


Main Responsibilities
  • Create and curate spiritual care resources that inspire and support our team and residents.
  • Plan and organize meaningful events and meetings, ensuring every detail is managed with excellence.
  • Collaborate on the development of new spiritual care programs that directly benefit our seniors.
  • Provide organizational support for the Manager of Spiritual Care in communication and scheduling.
  • Maintain our spiritual care website, making it an essential resource for our team.
  • Support devotional time and maintain prayer resources to uplift our community.

Requirements
  • A degree in business administration, Christian Ministry, or a relevant field.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting teams or managers in administrative or project assistance roles (Christian ministry or not-for-profit experience is a plus).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office and a knack for keeping things organized.
  • A heart for service and a passion for supporting others.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Alignment with Baptist Housing's Statement of Faith.
