Early Childhood Development Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Development Support Specialist to join our team at Learn N Play.
About the Role:This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting the growth and development of young children. As an Early Childhood Development Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting educators in promoting children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
You will engage children in activities through storytelling, singing, and crafting, while also preparing snacks and arranging rooms for lunch and rest periods. Additionally, you will submit written observations on children and participate in staff meetings to discuss their progress and problems.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist educators in creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for children.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's overall well-being.
- Collaborate with educators to plan and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and support.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a secondary education setting.
- Flexibility, interpersonal awareness, judgement, reliability, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of values and ethics.
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred.
The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, depending on qualifications and experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also included, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and professional development opportunities.
