Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of third-party relationships, conducting thorough risk assessments and providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business-specific third-party risks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, maintaining a culture of risk management and control.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and guidance on complex risk situations.
- Conduct research projects, supporting the development and delivery of presentations and communications to management and other stakeholders.
- Monitor service levels, productivity, and efficiency, implementing continuous process improvements where opportunities exist.
- Lead and facilitate remediation plans to address performance, risk, and governance issues.
- Act as a liaison between business lines and risk stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of contracts, vendor management, or procurement, along with associated processes.
- Experience in a 2nd line function with accountability for oversight of a business.
- Ability to act independently, with awareness of when to escalate for support.
- Strategic and operational awareness.
