Ccaa Infant and Toddler Child Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a Child Development Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to detail.
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts that foster creativity and imagination.
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, working collaboratively with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE level 1) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
