Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA Tumbler Ridge Care & Learning Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and creative programming for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interact directly with children, providing quality care and creative programming.
  • Establish and maintain positive daily communications and interactions with families.
  • Assist in planning and implementing a consistent child-centred program.
  • Work with staff team to deliver a high-quality and age-appropriate program based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum.
  • Adhere to all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies.

Requirements:
  • Current and valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice.
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a child care/recreational setting.
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain and Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
