About the Role:

The Assistant Pharmacy Manager is a key member of the pharmacy team at CareRx, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services. This role requires a skilled pharmacist who can work in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and complete root cause analysis and documentation of medication incident reports.
  • Oversee all pharmacists, including scheduling and arranging on-call pharmacist rotations.
  • Collaborate with operations managers and the pharmacy manager to ensure day-to-day operations of the pharmacy dispensary are completed.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with current clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Promote the company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Support the CareRx Business Development team with regard to prospective clients.
  • Assist with meeting assigned budget and labor goals, including maintaining adequate staffing levels and ratios.
  • Manage and evaluate KPIs to improve pharmacy operational efficiency.
  • Attend professional conferences, key stakeholder meetings, and trade shows as required.

Requirements:

  • Registered as a Pharmacist and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC.
  • Previous management or lead experience is an asset.
  • Strong leadership, delegation, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Self-directed, requiring minimal supervision, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of Kroll, automated packaging, and inspection machine software, Microsoft Office, and all applicable eMAR platforms is an asset.
  • Ability to remain unbiased when assigning tasks and resolving disputes.
  • Business and financial acumen is an asset.
  • Highly organized and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Skilled in critical thought processes and able to prioritize appropriately.
  • Must demonstrate initiative and creativity.
  • Motivated to achieve results that reflect a high standard of quality.
  • Must demonstrate good listening skills and be adaptable to changes in the job environment.

What We Offer:

CareRx offers a competitive salary range of $104,000 to $127,000 per year, as well as benefits, vacation, a stable schedule, and a wonderful and talented team with meaningful work.
