Job Summary

Rutland Area Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice seeks a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Associate to join our team. As a PCA, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and dignity.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as eating, bathing, and dressing
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams


Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have prior experience in home care or hospice care highly preferred
  • Hold a valid state driver's license, vehicle, and automobile insurance; ability to successfully pass pre-employment driver record, criminal, adult, and child abuse background check/review required
