Valero Energy Inc. is a leading company in the petroleum and renewable diesel sector, seeking a Scheduler - Products for a permanent contract, on-site in McGill, downtown Montreal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate supply logistics for various terminals in Eastern Canada, ensuring efficient inventory management and product quality control.
- Manage railcar fleet and empty railcars, optimizing transportation means to supply Eastern terminals by marine.
- Resolve supply issues at marine terminals, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Plan and execute logistics requirements, analyzing sales data and preparing product demand forecasts.
- Complete administrative tasks, including invoicing and monthly reconciliation of invoices payable to railways companies and private storage costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related or engineering field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in the petroleum industry.
- Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written).
- Strong Excel and SAP/SAP BW knowledge, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative, leadership, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
