Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is between $91,000 and $98,000 per year, depending on experience. This competitive salary reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the field of addiction and mental health services.

Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to lead our new Jewish Addiction and Mental Health Services Division within Jewish Family Services (JFS). As the Director, you will be responsible for mentoring, coaching, supporting, and inspiring team members, colleagues, and partners to collaborate on providing services to community members impacted by addiction and mental health challenges.

You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement one-on-one and group support services for individuals and their loved ones who are grappling with addiction and mental health issues. Additionally, you will define and implement the organizational supports, policies, processes, and structures required for the delivery of accessible, holistic service to clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. Masters Degree, in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling or other similar advanced clinical degree in addiction or mental health field
  2. A member of a College of Regulated Health Professionals
  3. Excellent knowledge of the Mental Health Act and community mental health resources
  4. Extensive experience in the fields of addiction, mental health, trauma
  5. Proven leadership and people management skills
  6. Expert knowledge in program development, administrative principles, and evaluation techniques
  7. Demonstrated ability to think and act with strategic and tactical agility and lead change
  8. Ability to work independently and in a team
  9. Innovative mindset
