Deli Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a Deli Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized deli area, and assisting with the sale of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to ensure a clean and organized environment.
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise.
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations.
- Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Taking orders for Deli Department merchandise, slicing and preparing merchandise, and providing requested assistance.
- Providing assistance to front-end associates with price checks.
- Preparing deli food orders, meat, cheese, and utilizing slicers, stackers, and other utensils.
- Keeping the area neat, clean, and organized, free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
