Job Description: We are seeking an experienced HVAC/R specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration equipment, as well as kitchen equipment products and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose HVAC equipment and understand product wiring diagrams
  • Install HVAC/R-related equipment and components
  • Assist in the overhaul and servicing of HVAC/R units and systems
  • Perform maintenance and repair on refrigeration equipment and systems
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety, and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations
  • Contribute to the ongoing training and mentoring of indentured apprentices
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality System operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certified Red Seal Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanic
  • Minimum 5 years commercial experience
  • Restaurant refrigeration equipment repair/maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the HVAC Refrigeration trade
  • A current and valid Alberta driver's license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prefers dual Journeyman Certification (Electrician, Plumber/Gasfitter)
