Job Title: Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at Healthteam Holdings.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing medication profiles, and supervising pharmacy staff. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for healthcare, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient storage.
  • Advise customers on the selection and use of non-prescription medication, providing personalized guidance and support.
  • Check prescriptions for proper dosage, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
  • Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products, utilizing precise calculations and measurements to ensure quality and efficacy.
  • Maintain medication profiles, including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs, to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Manage the storage, packaging, and distribution of medicinal products, adhering to regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and technicians, to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Evaluate labelling, packaging, and advertising of drug products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy Examining Boards of Canada Certification
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Immunization records
  • Criminal record check
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure are essential.
