Housekeeping Operations Manager

Ponderosa Motor Inn is seeking a skilled Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning services.
- Inspect facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Recommend and arrange for additional services as needed, such as painting, repairs, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
- Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs and ensure accurate billing and invoicing.
- Assist housekeeping staff in performing duties and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Coordinate work activities with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet the needs of our facilities.
- 5-10 years of experience in housekeeping or facilities management.
- Proven track record of supervising and coordinating housekeeping staff.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment an asset.
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. The position requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
