Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in assisting the VP, Finance in preparing monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and 3-year financial plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts by collecting and reviewing expense estimates, updating forecast reports, and analyzing variances to sales budget.
  • Prepare the annual budget by distributing and collecting budget expense templates, updating and validating budget reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of the 3-year financial plan.
  • Support the Planning department through analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning process, working with key management personnel to monitor the demand planning process.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing insight into business performance, including using and creating Tableau Dashboards.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in accounting with an accounting designation (CPA).
  • Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong abilities within the Microsoft Suite of products.
  • Experience in preparing monthly forecasts is an asset.
  • Independent and resourceful with robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong sense of urgency with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Motivated to continually ensure integrity and improve financial reporting.
