We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager to join our team at Jp2g Consultants Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing environmental and engineering projects, providing technical input, and contributing to business development.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks
- Technical Expertise
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and guidelines
- Conduct field investigations, data analysis, and prepare reports to document findings
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and technologists to achieve project goals
- Participate in coordination meetings and ensure proper document coordination
- Build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in environmental engineering, hydrogeology, or a related field. The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of professional experience in environmental project management or a related field
- University degree in Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or Hydrogeology
- Licensed by Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) with P.Eng. or Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (PGO) with P.Geo.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Level II Secret clearance with Public Services and Procurement Canada
Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar programs, bilingualism, and previous experience as a project manager and technical staff supervisor are assets.
