Master Machinist

**About Us:**
Rostel Industries is a leading manufacturer in Calgary, AB, with a strong presence in the Greater Calgary Metropolitan Area. Our manufacturing facility is seeking a highly skilled Machinist to join our team.

**Job Overview:**
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective manufacture of components to meet company objectives and maintain quality standards. This includes machining components to specified drawings, maintaining efficiency, and meeting deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Ensure the efficient production of components while adhering to required standards and company goals.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship by machining components according to specifications.
• May require working overtime or irregular shifts as determined by department management.

**Requirements:**
To succeed in this role, you must have:

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

• A registered post-secondary Machinist training program.
• Registered Journeyman Machinist status is an asset.
• Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and Gibbs Cam software is desirable.

**Nice-to-Have Skills:**

• CNC Lathe and/or Mill experience is required.
• Familiarity with Mazatrol, Fanuc, Heidenhain, and Fagor control systems is advantageous.
• Experience in oilfield, automotive, or aviation manufacturing in a service/jobber shop environment is an asset.

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, prescription drug, and life insurance. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
