Automotive Body Repairer and Painter

SITRADE is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Repairer and Painter to join our team. As a key member of our repair team, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and replace damaged body components, including doors, frames, and underbody components.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces.
  • Repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors.
  • Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the automotive body repair and painting industry.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
Work Environment:
  • Noisy work environment.
  • Exposure to odours.
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check required.
Transportation and Travel:
  • Public transportation is available.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail required.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
