Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to promote our organization's brand and values.
  • Act as a spokesperson for our organization, responding to media inquiries and representing our brand in a professional manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of communications materials, including brochures, reports, and newsletters.
  • Coordinate special publicity events and promotions to raise awareness of our organization's initiatives.
  • Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform our communications strategies.
  • Gather and research communications materials to support our public relations efforts.
  • Initiate and maintain contact with the media to build relationships and secure media coverage.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Microsoft Publisher, MS Outlook, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word
  • Security and safety: Driving record check (abstract)
  • Transportation/travel information: Own vehicle, willing to travel regularly, valid driver's licence
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Overtime required
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, team player
