Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional control/inspections of ongoing manufacturing, received, and ready to ship parts as interact with client inspectors (not frequently and when required).
  • Verify discrepancies between client drawings and internal manufacturing drawings.
  • Dimensional inspection of the received and shipped parts, and raw material.
  • Produce/fill in the Inspection report.
  • Assist the Plant Manager with organization of the Quality-related tasks.
  • Interact with the Planning Manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience with measurement tools: tapes, calipers, and levels.
  • Surface roughness measurement (training provided).
  • Experience with mechanical drawings, understanding welding TIG and MIG.
  • Practical approach understanding manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 (training provided).
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
  • Able to assist the Plant Manager with organization of the Quality-related tasks.
  • Able to collaborate with the Planning Manager with organization of the Quality-related tasks.

Working Conditions:

  • Working hours: day shift, Monday to Thursday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, and Fridays from 6 am to noon.
  • Languages: English and French spoken and written.
  • Wage: from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.
