Job Description:

The Senior Financial Analyst will perform timely updates, maintenance, and enhancements of the 10-year Capital Plan. This involves developing and implementing financial models, conducting user requirement analysis, building, testing, updating, and maintaining various budget and financial models. The incumbent will also provide analysis, prepare financial performance measurement reports, and perform data validation as applicable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial models, conduct user requirement analysis, build, test, update, and maintain revenue and cost simulation models.
  • Update, maintain, reconcile, and upgrade the 10-year Capital Plan financial model.
  • Develop, update, and maintain financial performance measurement financial models for all College divisions.
  • Support capital budget processes by preparing, analyzing, and inputting various budget data in the budget module for all Divisions.

Requirements:

  • A four-year degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Finance, Accounting (with emphasis on product costing), or a related field.
  • Completion of or senior level enrollment in a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) program (or equivalent) is required.
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in financial and/or business analysis, including handling a large number of projects and work requests.

  • Advanced verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer service-oriented personality, solid analytical skills, excellent work ethics, commitment to task and timeline are essential for the success in this role.
