Regulatory Practice Partner

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Practice Partner to join our team. As a key member of our regulatory compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's regulatory obligations are met and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide regulatory guidance and support to regional leadership teams
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry best practices
  • Collaborate with key partners to develop and implement regulatory initiatives
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to identify areas of concern
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to regional heads and managers on regulatory matters
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of securities, regulatory environment, and ethical standards
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in the financial industry
  • Completion of key core securities courses
  • 5-10 years experience working with a CIRO member firm or securities commission regulated firm
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with limited direction
  • Commitment to ongoing industry education and CE requirements
