About the Role

Sidhu Pro Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to fill the position of Construction Materials Handler. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable with heavy lifting and manual labor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading

The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading construction materials, including concrete and asphalt, from vehicles and equipment. This will involve using manual handling techniques and machinery to safely move materials around the site.

Erecting and Dismantling Structures

The successful applicant will also be required to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as needed. This will involve following safety protocols and working at heights.

Mixing and Spreading Materials

In addition, the Construction Materials Handler will be responsible for mixing and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt. This will involve operating machinery and ensuring that the correct proportions of materials are used.

Framing Houses and Building Roofs

The ideal candidate will assist in framing houses and building roofs, which will involve working at heights and using manual handling techniques to lift and maneuver materials.

Routine Maintenance

The successful applicant will also perform routine maintenance work, which may include cleaning equipment, performing repairs, and conducting inspections.

Clean-up and Debris Removal

Finally, the Construction Materials Handler will be responsible for clean-up and debris removal, which will involve disposing of waste and maintaining a safe working environment.

The role is physically demanding and requires the ability to lift heavy loads and work long hours outdoors. The successful applicant should be comfortable with physical activity and have a strong work ethic.

Working Hours

The working hours will typically be 40 hours per week, although this may vary depending on the project requirements and needs of the company.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
