About the Role

At Rooster Building Group, we are seeking an experienced Construction Crane Operator to join our team. This is a permanent position working 35-40 hours per week.

Job Description

The successful candidate will operate mobile and tower cranes to lift, move, position or place equipment and materials on construction sites. Responsibilities include calculating crane capacities, loading, unloading and transporting construction materials, measuring weight to prepare for rigging and hoisting, performing pre-operational inspection, erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades, operating pile driving cranes to drive pilings into earth to provide support for buildings and other structures, operating cranes equipped with dredging attachments to dredge waterways and other areas, assisting in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, assisting in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, assisting in demolishing buildings, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, operating dragline cranes to expose coal seams and ore deposits at open pit mines, performing routine maintenance work, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience. Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
