Electrical Project Manager (Buildings)

Are you ready to take on a challenging role in the MEP team of our Buildings sector? We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team in Markham, ON.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from start to completion, ensuring engineering quality standards are met.
  • Apply risk management practices to all projects, leading to successful outcomes.
  • Lead the design team to produce schematic design, design development, tender, and construction documents that meet project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget.
  • Conduct site visits, review shop drawings, and prepare CCN/SI.
  • Write, study, and report on electrical system work.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Electrical consulting field.
  • Experience in Multi-sector - Healthcare, Residential, Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial sectors of electrical consulting is a bonus.
  • Capable of leading and managing new construction, renovation, and electrical system upgrade projects.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Electrical Safety Code, and all applicable CAN-ULC and CSA codes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and electrical design software, including AutoCAD and REVIT MEP.
