Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab First Inc. in Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, providing services to clients with various physical, cognitive, and mental health conditions. Your expertise will be utilized to complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide client treatment in clinic, community, home, or workplace settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide client treatment, including physical and cognitive interventions, to promote independence and functional ability
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Prepare and submit case notes and reports to maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Current registration or working towards registration as a new grad with COTO
  • Valid CPR certificate and reliable vehicle
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check within the last six months
