The Opportunity:

Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. is seeking a skilled Grader Operator to join their team at the Hemlo Operation, near Marathon, ON.

As a Grader Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining roads, ramps, and mine levels while ensuring the safety of yourself and your coworkers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Grading and maintaining all mine travel ways
  • Ensuring roadbed material is placed where needed
  • Occasionally operating other heavy equipment as required
  • Assisting with other duties as requested

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to working safely and ensuring the safety of others
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working underground as a Grader Operator, with experience operating a CAT 135 being an asset
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently with limited supervision while still being a contributing member of a team
  • The ability to work in a cross-cultural environment
