Child Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Caregiver to join our team at Private Home. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to children in a family setting.
Responsibilities- Assume full responsibility for household duties in the absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to promote their overall well-being
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children to encourage learning and fun
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals to fuel their growth and development
- Supervise and care for children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
- Take children to and from school and to appointments, providing a safe and reliable transportation service
- Tend to the emotional well-being of children, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence
- Help children with homework, providing guidance and support when needed
- Cook and prepare meals for the family, using fresh and healthy ingredients
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Non-smoking environment
- Urban area
- Work in employer's/client's home
- Client focus, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, time management, patience, and honesty
- Repetitive tasks
- Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
- English or French
- Temporary
- 40 hours per week
