Job Description

SUNLIFE ELECTRICAL LTD is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to assemble heavy-duty electric motors and transformers. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal and prefabricated parts, as well as interpreting engineering drawings and electrical schematics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble stators or armatures for heavy-duty electric motors
  • Collect, record and summarize inspection results
  • Compress steel laminations to build transformer cores
  • Assemble winding into core and make electrical connections
  • Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Relocation costs covered by employer
Benefits
  • Permanent work term
  • 35 to 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
