Position Overview
We are currently seeking a permanent full-time Behaviour Analyst to deliver clinical skill instruction and create tailored Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) utilizing the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis. This role involves collaborating with individuals in both home and community settings to design BSPs that address challenging behaviours, ultimately improving their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing individualized behaviour protocols.
- Implementing and overseeing community follow-up and consultation.
- Creating objective monitoring systems to track maladaptive behaviours and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards for assessment documentation.
- Preparing comprehensive behavioural assessment reports based on direct and indirect measures.
- Setting clear, measurable objectives for behavioural change.
- Assessing risk and developing mitigation plans for maladaptive behaviours.
- Reviewing and monitoring all behaviour support plans and relevant protocols.
- Designing and implementing training programs for Behaviour Assistants and other stakeholders.
- Collaborating with community partners to ensure comprehensive support for individuals.
Qualifications
- A master's degree in psychology, education, or a related field in behavioural science.
- Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, holding a Board-Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) designation.
- Minimum of five years of clinical experience in a multidisciplinary team setting.
- Strong assessment and planning skills, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting rate of $42.02 per hour.
- Paid statutory holidays and vacation pay.
