About the Role

BMO is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Specialist to join our team. As a Mortgage Specialist, you will be responsible for originating and processing mortgage loans, working closely with customers to understand their financial needs and providing expert advice on mortgage products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and process mortgage loans, ensuring timely and accurate completion of loan applications
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their financial needs and providing expert advice on mortgage products and services
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, processors, and closers, to ensure seamless loan processing
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and product offerings to provide expert advice to customers
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage products, services, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions
